Country Border Security

Postby Argentum on Tue Oct 27, 2009 10:56 pm

No doubt you've probably all seen this one.... but.... I think it's bloody funny and worth sharing

I'm only wondering if my brother will get through the next time he visits..... his last visit saw him sporting some shoes that were 'questionable' to say the least... he was quite offended when I referred to them as his "Poofter Shoes"

Yep, Sorry
I just checked the rule book.... boyish charm is perfectly acceptable but the other stuff is out of the question.
Hope they don't raid my place as they might find a few items that will cause trouble. Even though I have a Cruiser and a Hilux in the driveway, it may not earn me a free pass with all the fruity colognes and hair products I have stashed away  .... not to mention the yogurt I have in the fridge

No worries there.... they'll just put a 'sealed roads only' sticker on ya windshield

Oddest thing I notice about that ad is that all the border security vehicles(except the troopy) have urban/highway pattern tyres and no snorkel..... soft !!!
I'll just out-run 'em if they find my stash.... I'll loose them in the first mud hole or river crossing

I seen the best try-hard 4x4 in Muswellbrook on Friday.... it was jacked up so high that I think they must've replaced the springs with step ladders.... and it had an entire catalouge of ARB accessories fitted to it.... no expense spared

BUT.....

It wheeled into the servo and drove straight up to the PETROL bowser..... WTF !!!!
Made me wonder what kind of person would try to make a 'serious' off-roader out of a petrol Hilux.... it'd last about as long as it takes to get half way through the first deep water crossing

.... and then the driver got out and it all became clear..... not one item of the clothing & accessories he was wearing would make it within 100m of border security before they shot him..... pants half down.... undies pulled up..... cap skewed to the side.... sunglasses that looked like he'd stolen them off the set of a young Sophia Loren's movie...shoes that look like he's mated a pair of slippers with ladies bowls shoe...... you all know what I'm talkin' about
